Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan has assumed the position of Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC. Prior to this appointment, Khan held the roles of Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer (CBO) simultaneously for approximately six years within the bank, as stated in a press release. He also previously served as the bank’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Having joined Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC in 2003, Khan has worked in various capacities and played a crucial role in the bank’s transformative initiatives, innovation efforts, business expansion, and operational enhancements.
With a wealth of over 30 years in the banking sector, he embarked on his career at BASIC Bank PLC in 1995 as an Assistant Manager (on probation).
Khan earned his honors and master’s degrees in economics from Jahangirnagar University.
