“Dhaka 26: Intense Political Drama Unfolds”

Date:

Political narratives are currently taking center stage in public discussions. In this context, the election-themed series “Dhaka 26” has been crafted, scripted, and directed by Ishteaque Ahmed.

The plot revolves around the rivalry between two close aides of a prominent political figure, both vying for power and acknowledgment. Each strives to prove their loyalty and secure a top position in the leader’s circle.

Within this political backdrop, a personal feud emerges involving a woman who becomes the love interest of one of the aides, much to the disapproval of the other. As personal emotions entwine with political ambitions, their competition escalates, driving the conflict to a climax.

Despite the leader’s repeated efforts to mediate the dispute, all attempts fail, leading to a pivotal event that alters the storyline’s trajectory.

Produced by Esha Rahman, the fast-paced drama is scheduled for broadcast on ATV USA soon.

The ensemble cast includes Akash Rahman, Allen Shubhro, Tasnuva Tisha, Sardar Rawnaq Ripon, and a host of other actors.

Allen Shubhra expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I have always been captivated by political narratives, and this one is exceptionally gripping. I am confident it will resonate strongly with the audience.”

Tasnuva Tisha praised the storyline as “highly contemporary and pertinent,” sharing her delight in being part of the production.

“Dhaka 26” was filmed at various locations across Dhaka in late January.
