Second Woman Accuses Prince Andrew in Epstein Scandal

Date:

A second woman has come forward accusing Jeffrey Epstein of arranging for her to have a sexual encounter with Prince Andrew at his residence on the Windsor estate in 2010. The woman, in her 20s at the time, was allegedly sent by Epstein to meet with the former prince, according to her US lawyer.

The revelation surfaced following the release of new documents by the US Justice Department related to the Epstein case. The documents included photos showing Andrew with a woman on the floor. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has suggested that Andrew should cooperate with the US Congress regarding Epstein’s crimes.

Attorney Brad Edwards, representing the woman, mentioned that she was given a tour of Buckingham Palace after spending the night with Andrew. He indicated that there were communications between his client and the prince before the encounter and that a potential civil lawsuit may be pursued on her behalf.

Despite the allegations, Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing associated with Epstein. This accusation comes years after similar claims were made by Virginia Giuffre, who alleged being trafficked to have sexual encounters with Andrew.

Following a settlement agreement between Andrew and Giuffre, which did not involve an admission of guilt, King Charles III stripped Andrew of his royal titles and honours. Andrew had already distanced himself from royal duties in 2019 due to the accusations and his connections to Epstein.

Notably, Epstein had been convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution in 2008 and died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex crimes. The prince’s friendship with Epstein continued even after the financier’s legal troubles.

Andrew now faces renewed scrutiny after the recent release of additional Epstein-related documents by the US Justice Department. These included photos of Andrew with a woman and emails suggesting dinner arrangements with a Russian woman in 2010.
