“Triple Hollywood Treat at Star Cineplex, Bangladesh”

Date:

Star Cineplex, the top multiplex chain in Bangladesh, is offering a triple delight for movie enthusiasts with the simultaneous release of three Hollywood films on February 9. The lineup includes the highly anticipated sequel “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple,” the sci-fi thriller “Mercy,” and the horror feature “Primate.”

The management at Star Cineplex has noted significant interest in all three films from critics and audiences in the United States and other global markets. They are optimistic that Bangladeshi moviegoers will flock to the theaters to enjoy the diverse genres showcased, ranging from post-apocalyptic horror and futuristic sci-fi to survival-driven terror.

“28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” serves as a sequel to the successful film “28 Years Later” and is the fourth installment in the 28 Days Later franchise. Directed by Nia DaCosta, the movie stars Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry. The story is set in a fractured Britain 28 years after the initial Rage virus outbreak, focusing on a teenage boy named Spike and scientist Dr. Ian Kelson as they navigate a world dominated by cult-like groups and paramilitary forces.

Directed by Timur Bekmambetov and produced by Charles Roven, “Mercy” features Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson in leading roles. The sci-fi thriller revolves around detective Chris Raven, who must prove his innocence within 90 minutes to an advanced AI judge after being falsely accused of his wife’s murder. The film raises thought-provoking questions about technology, justice, and the essence of humanity.

“Primate,” an American horror film directed by Johannes Roberts, has garnered positive reviews and global acclaim since its release. The movie, starring Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, Troy Kotsur, Victoria Wint, and Gia Hunter, follows a family and their pet chimpanzee, Ben, whose behavior takes a violent turn after being bitten by a rabid animal. The narrative delves into the repercussions of domestication and the fragility of humanity when faced with the forces of nature.

With “Primate” already achieving a 79% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and grossing $32 million worldwide, it has become one of the standout films of the year.
