Bangladesh’s key bowlers, Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hossain, have made it to the shortlist for The Hundred Auction 2026. The auction is set to take place at the iconic Piccadilly Lights in central London on March 11 and 12.
Both players were revealed as part of the initial auction list released on Monday, which includes over 400 cricketers. Interestingly, out of the 21 Bangladeshi players who signed up for the draft, only Mustafizur and Rishad secured a spot on the list.
Mustafizur has been given the highest base price among the Bangladeshi players with a value of £100,000, while Rishad follows closely with a reserve price of £75,000.
Notably, no Bangladeshi cricketer has participated in The Hundred tournament since its inception in 2021. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) recently confirmed that close to 1,000 players from 18 countries have registered for the upcoming 2026 auction.
