“Dhallywood Icons Cast Votes, Express Hope for Bangladesh Future”

Voters flocked to polling stations in Dhaka and various regions of Bangladesh on Thursday during the 13th national parliamentary election. Among the voters were some renowned film actresses from the country.

The trio of famous Dhallywood actresses, Kohinoor Akhter Shuchanda, Farida Akhtar Babita, and Champa, arrived at the Gulshan Model High School center together to cast their votes. They emerged from their vehicle with smiles, briefly posing for photographers, adding an air of excitement to the polling center.

These three sisters, known as icons of Bangladeshi cinema for many years, shared their optimism about the nation’s future after voting. Babita, in a recent interview leading up to the election, expressed her aspirations for peace and effective governance under the new administration. She emphasized the desire for progress, peace, and a corruption-free society. The actresses also highlighted the importance of enabling artists to create freely and securely in the country.
