BYD, a leading manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), has officially introduced its latest model, the Sealion 5.
The Sealion 5 is equipped with BYD’s advanced DM-i Super Plug-in Hybrid system, which integrates a high-efficiency 1,500cc engine with an electric motor to provide a total driving range of up to 1,000 km. This SUV boasts a combined maximum power output of 156 kW and torque of 300 Nm, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds.
Safety and comfort are key priorities in the Sealion 5, featuring seven airbags, the innovative Blade Battery technology, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The vehicle interior is designed with a 12.8-inch infotainment display, a panoramic sunroof, and a spacious cabin layout, as highlighted in the press release.
The Sealion 5 is offered in four color options: Cosmos Black, Aurora White, Atlantis Gray, and Harbour Gray.
