After a complex four-hour operation, doctors were able to remove the tumor, and Tania Brishty is currently under close observation with medical supervision for the next 24 hours. While the surgery went well, doctors have cautioned about potential post-operative complications, keeping her in a condition that is not completely out of danger. Her family has appealed for prayers for her quick recovery.
The family has also requested that well-wishers avoid unnecessary visits to the hospital and excessive phone calls to minimize any inconvenience or distress. Tania had been experiencing health issues for several days, including severe headaches, fever, and cold-like symptoms, leading to the diagnosis of a brain tumor after tests at two hospitals.
Following medical advice, she underwent brain surgery at a specialized hospital in Shyamoli, in the capital, on Saturday afternoon. Director Shakal Ahmed had earlier shared the surgery details with Channel i online, mentioning that the operation started at 4:30 pm on Sunday and was expected to last until 8:00 pm, prioritizing caution to ensure her well-being.
