Veteran artist Anil Kapoor has disclosed that his enduring vitality may actually stem from a sense of insecurity. Despite being 69 years old, Kapoor continues to be one of the most dynamic and adaptable actors in Indian cinema. He has seamlessly transitioned from leading roles in blockbusters to more complex character portrayals. Renowned for his lively presence on and off the screen, Kapoor recently shared insights into his relentless drive.
During a recent interaction, Kapoor expressed that his determination comes from a strong desire to remain relevant and engaged in meaningful projects. “I believe it’s my insecurity. I have this urge to work. If my energy is evident in my performances or demeanor, it’s because I strive to be present and significant,” he explained.
The actor emphasized that his enthusiasm is genuine and stems from his love for acting. “My primary drive is to deliver exceptional work. I aim to bring joy to the director. I must give my best, regardless of my limitations. Perhaps I doubt my abilities and believe there are more talented individuals out there. I have much to learn, so I require the fitness and vigor to continuously improve,” Kapoor shared, receiving admiration from the audience.
In his recent appearance in “War 2,” where he portrayed Colonel Vikrant Kaul, Kapoor showcased his acting prowess. His next project, the action-packed drama “Subedaar,” will feature Radhikka Madan alongside him. The film will also star Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
“Subedaar,” produced by Opening Image Films in collaboration with Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network (AKFCN), is supported by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor, and Suresh Triveni. Directed by Suresh Triveni, who co-wrote the screenplay with Prajwal Chandrashekar, the movie is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on March 5 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions.
