Veteran actor and theater director Salahuddin Lavlu is currently juggling between his acting and directing commitments by taking on roles in three new films. The movies include “Cactus” helmed by Shihab Shaheen, “Malik” directed by Saif Chandan, and “Secret” directed by Bandhan Biswas.
Expressing his excitement about the projects, Salahuddin Lavlu mentioned that he has portrayed distinct characters in each film and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He believes that the audience will appreciate the unique and fresh storylines of these movies, promising an enjoyable viewing experience.
In addition to his film projects, Salahuddin Lavlu has directed a one-hour television drama titled “Shottyo Shongkot” for Eid, set to be broadcasted on Channel i. The drama, penned by Asad Sarkar, features Zakia Bari Mamo, Amin Azad, Farzana Bobby, and Salahuddin Lavlu himself.
Discussing the Eid drama’s theme, he emphasized the significance of honesty depicted in “Shottyo Shongkot,” highlighting a character who faces numerous challenges for always speaking the truth, showcasing the enduring value of honesty in society.
