The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the 16-member team selection for the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh, confirming Shan Masood as the captain. The matches are scheduled to take place in Dhaka from May 8 to 12 and in Sylhet from May 16 to 20.
Among the squad members are four players who are yet to make their Test debut – Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais, and Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, showcasing a mix of young talent and seasoned experience.
For this tour, former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been named as the head coach, with Asad Shafiq and Umar Gul taking on the roles of batting and bowling coaches, respectively.
The squad comprises Shan Masood (captain), Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais, Babar Azam, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Muhammad Ghazi Ghori (wk), Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
