Acclaimed artist Fazlur Rahman Babu, known for his work in film, television, and music, is currently hospitalized following a cardiac episode. The situation was confirmed by theater director Kamruzzaman Sagar.
According to a recent Facebook post by Sagar, Babu was admitted to a private hospital in the capital on February 16 after a heart attack. Subsequently, he was transferred to another medical facility where an angiogram revealed significant blockages in his heart.
The post shared, “It is with regret that we share the news of the esteemed Fazlur Rahman Babu undergoing treatment after falling ill.”
Following open-heart surgery on February 19, Babu is now being closely monitored by medical professionals. Sagar expressed, “Thanks to the grace of Allah, Babu bhai’s health has improved.” He urged everyone to pray for Babu’s speedy recovery so he can resume his artistic endeavors in acting and music.
