These remarks were made during his inaugural meeting with ministry officials and staff.
Emphasizing the integral connection between integrity and the role of a judge, the minister stated that being honest is a core expectation for those in the judiciary. He debunked the notion of “corrupt judges” or “corrupt officials,” stating that honesty is a foundational principle in the judiciary.
Furthermore, the minister issued a stern warning that individuals engaged in corruption will not escape accountability. He affirmed that anyone attempting to engage in corrupt practices will face both administrative measures and the filing of corruption charges, underscoring the zero-tolerance stance of the ministry on corruption.
