“Dutch-Bangla Bank Teams Up with Bangladesh Bank to Boost Exports”

Dutch-Bangla Bank has recently finalized a collaborative agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) to avail of refinancing opportunities through the “Export Diversification Refinance Scheme.” The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance the variety of export goods and foster the development of new market avenues, thereby fortifying the nation’s export industry.

In adherence to the agreement, Dutch-Bangla Bank will extend refinancing facilities to its clients focused on export activities at reduced interest rates compared to standard offerings. The pact was officially endorsed by AKM Nurunnabi, the director of BB’s Sustainable Finance Department, and Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan, the managing director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank, representing their respective institutions.

The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both entities, underscoring the significance of this partnership in promoting export diversification and market expansion efforts.
