Google and SpaceX have entered into a substantial computing infrastructure agreement worth approximately $920 million per month, as revealed in a regulatory filing ahead of SpaceX’s upcoming public offering. As per the agreement, Google will utilize around 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, memory, and related components until June 2029, beginning in October 2026.
The agreement allows for either party to terminate with a 90-day notice after December 31, 2026. Google’s access to the computing infrastructure is set to incrementally rise leading up to the full contract period. In the event that SpaceX fails to meet the agreed-upon computing capacity by September 2026, Google has the option to terminate the agreement or accept reduced allocation with corresponding fee adjustments.
This announcement precedes SpaceX’s anticipated trading debut on the Nasdaq exchange. The deal with Google follows a prior agreement with Anthropic, disclosed on May 6, 2026, wherein Anthropic agreed to pay $1.25 billion monthly for access to computing capacity at the Colossus 1 data center near Memphis, Tennessee, until May 2029, granting access to over 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs.
SpaceX has not disclosed the specific data center that will support Google’s computing needs. However, the company has hinted at potential utilization of upcoming facilities like the planned Colossus 2 data center for internal AI operations linked to xAI, now integrated into SpaceX’s operations.
