“Actress Sabila Nur Takes on Iconic Role in ‘Bonolota Express’ Film”

Sabila Nur, who gained fame with her debut in “Taandob”, is gearing up for her second film, “Bonolota Express”, directed by Tanim Noor, set to hit theaters this Eid. The movie is an adaptation of Humayun Ahmed’s novel “Kichukkhon”.

In the film, Sabila takes on the role of Chitra, a central character in the storyline. Sharing insights into her preparation, Sabila mentioned, “I delved into ‘Kichukkhon’ multiple times to fully embody the character. I read it around fifteen times, ensuring I was well-prepared before facing the camera.”

Expressing her surprise at landing the role, Sabila said, “Playing Chitra was unexpected for me. I never imagined a film would be made on ‘Kichukkhon’, let alone me portraying this character. But when the director offered me the role, I was thrilled.”

Reflecting on her filming experience, Sabila described it as “tremendous and extraordinary”, emphasizing the joy she felt throughout the process.

Discussing her involvement in a film based on a Humayun Ahmed novel, Sabila expressed, “Humayun Ahmed is a beloved writer, and acting in a film inspired by his work is truly remarkable, given my admiration for him.”

Addressing her nerves about portraying Chitra, Sabila admitted, “There was a bit of nervousness, knowing many readers have their perceptions of the character. Despite that, I was mostly excited to take on the challenge.”

Sabila also shared her experience working with co-stars Sariful Razz and Mosharraf Karim in “Bonolota Express”, highlighting the learning opportunities and familial bond that developed on set.

Anticipating the audience’s reception, Sabila expressed high hopes for the film, noting its diverse elements of emotion, comedy, entertainment, and tragedy that are bound to captivate viewers.

Before filming commenced, Sabila underwent rigorous rehearsals under Tanim Noor’s guidance, indicating the director’s meticulous approach to the project. When asked about her preparation for the role of Chitra, Sabila affirmed her thorough dedication to embodying the character convincingly.
