Aristopharma Limited, a prominent pharmaceutical company in the country, has recently entered into an agreement with bKash Limited, a leading mobile financial service provider in Bangladesh. The collaboration aims to facilitate direct payments to stakeholders through the bKash platform, enhancing financial transparency and security at the field level.
The partnership is anticipated to streamline financial operations and contribute to building a cashless ecosystem by mitigating the risks associated with physical cash transactions. The agreement was formalized through a signing ceremony at Aristopharma’s headquarters in Dhaka, where Mohammad Sahid Hassan, the Deputy Managing Director of Aristopharma Limited, and Ali Ahmmed, the Chief Commercial Officer of bKash Limited, signed the agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, Aristopharma will utilize bKash’s “Disbursement Solution” to transfer payments directly to stakeholders’ bKash accounts. Beneficiaries will have the flexibility to withdraw the funds from bKash agent points or ATMs nationwide, or utilize their digital balances for various services such as merchant payments, utility bill settlements, money transfers, mobile top-ups, educational or governmental fee payments, opening DPS accounts, purchasing travel tickets, and making donations.
The signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from both companies, including Ahmed Imtiaz Hassan, Director of Aristopharma; Md Maminul Islam, Executive Director and Company Secretary; Mohammad Siddiqul Alam Sikder, Executive Director from Aristopharma, and Masrur Chowdhury, Head of Business Sales, and Md Somel Reza Khan, General Manager of the Business Sales Department from bKash.
