Recognizing the critical importance of early childhood development, there is a growing need for Bangladesh to implement structured parenting education programs within existing healthcare services. Government hospitals, community clinics, and private healthcare providers could incorporate parenting education into antenatal check-ups and maternity packages.
While traditional wisdom on childcare remains valuable, supplementing it with evidence-based information and support systems can better equip new parents for the challenges of raising children in modern nuclear family settings. By investing in structured parenting education initiatives, Bangladesh can ensure that new parents receive the guidance and knowledge necessary to nurture healthy and thriving children from the very beginning.
