Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, the special assistant to the chief adviser on ICT and telecommunications, has departed from Bangladesh to Germany today, as confirmed by sources at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

He embarked on his journey to Germany on an Emirates Airlines flight (EK-583). One of his colleagues also verified his departure.

Before this role, in November 2024, Taiyeb, who is an electrical engineering alumnus of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), served as an ICT policy adviser.
