Cultural Adviser & Actress Cast Votes on Historic Election Day

Date:

Cultural Affairs Adviser to the interim government, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, and his wife, actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha, participated in the 13th parliamentary election by casting their votes at their designated polling station. Farooki expressed his enthusiasm for the historic voter turnout on the same day as Abrar Fahad’s birthday.

Taking to Facebook, Farooki shared his sentiments, stating, “Today marks a significant moment coinciding with Abrar Fahad’s birthday. The overwhelming voter participation in Bangladesh reflects the public reclaiming ownership of their country beyond merely electing a governing party.”

Reflecting on the timing, he added, “It’s intriguing that this event aligns with Abrar Fahad’s birthday, almost as if it were predestined.”
