“Director Tanim Noor’s “Bonolota Express” Set to Wow Audiences This Eid”

Director Tanim Noor, known for his previous work “Utshob,” is set to release “Bonolota Express” this upcoming Eid, an adaptation of Humayun Ahmed’s novel “Kichhukhhon.” The film boasts a star-studded cast, with five actors sharing their insights on the highly-anticipated project.

Chanchal Chowdhury emphasized that “Bonolota Express” does not focus on a single lead character but highlights the importance of every individual in the narrative. He praised the remarkable performances of each actor, emphasizing the collaborative effort of the team. According to Chanchal, the story is “magnificent,” capturing the essence of Humayun Ahmed’s storytelling magic. He described the film as a pure Bangladeshi tale filled with humor and entertainment, rooted entirely in the country.

Chanchal expressed his excitement about reuniting with Mosharraf Karim on screen after 12 years and commended the outstanding performances of the entire ensemble cast. He believes that “Bonolota Express” will surpass the success of “Utshob” and is confident that audiences will appreciate the family-friendly film, where he portrays a minister for the first time.

Echoing similar sentiments, Azmeri Haque Badhan praised the screenplay of “Bonolota Express,” drawing parallels between Humayun Ahmed’s captivating storytelling in the script. She highlighted the unique experience of filming on an elaborate train set at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC), creating an immersive train journey atmosphere for the actors.

Describing the film as a relatable story for viewers of all ages, Badhan emphasized the film’s authenticity and its potential to resonate with Bangladeshi audiences, making it a promising Eid release.

Zakia Bari Mamo expressed her admiration for Humayun Ahmed’s literary work and the impact it has on audiences when adapted for the screen. She shared her enthusiasm for being part of “Bonolota Express,” praising Tanim Noor’s adaptation of “Kichhukhhon” and the collaborative effort of the ensemble cast in bringing the story to life. Mamo believes that the film will offer a fresh perspective to Bangladeshi cinema.

Veteran actor Faruque Ahmed lauded Tanim Noor’s directorial skills, describing his experience working under him as fulfilling and praising his clarity of vision. While missing Humayun Ahmed during the shoot, Faruque expressed his appreciation for the diverse cast in the film and his confidence in its success, particularly highlighting a memorable helicopter rescue sequence.

Intekhab Dinar acknowledged Tanim Noor’s growing reputation following the success of “Utshob” and expressed his anticipation for the impact of “Bonolota Express.” He remarked on the impressive set design at BFDC and his enjoyment of portraying a role in the film, believing that audience expectations will be met.
