Duronto TV, a popular children’s television channel in Bangladesh, is gearing up to offer a diverse Eid schedule that includes 14 foreign films dubbed in Bangla in addition to its regular original content.
Breaking away from the usual star-centric Eid entertainment typically seen in cinemas, TV, and online platforms, the channel is introducing a lineup of international movies tailored for young viewers.
Viewers can enjoy movies like “Mubarak” and “The Smurfs” on Eid day, followed by “Surf’s Up” and “The Smurfs 2” on the second day, and “Open Season” and “Rana Silence” on the third day. These films will be aired over seven days, with two screenings each day at 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
Apart from the foreign film offerings, Duronto TV will also showcase a variety of original Eid programs. The Eid day schedule will feature shows like “Ronger Khelay Surer Bhelay” at 7:30 am, “Banai Mojar Khawar Ma-Baba Aar Ami” at 9:00 am and 1:30 pm with guest Rafael and his mother.
Special episodes of “Ma-Babai Sera” with Khondokar Samiha Tajmin and her parents will air at 9:30 am and 6:30 pm. The children’s band show “Durontopona” featuring the band Aces will be on at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Other programs to look forward to include “Dustu Misti” at 10:30 am, the Eid serial drama “Hoi Hoi Holla – Season 3” at 1:00 pm, and “Duronto Family” at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
Duronto TV plans to broadcast its special Eid programming lineup throughout the entire seven-day festival period, ensuring a delightful viewing experience for its audience.
