FundedNext Recognized as Deloitte’s Leading Fintech in the Middle East & Cyprus

Date:

FundedNext, the flagship product of UAE-based NEXT Ventures, has been awarded the top fintech ranking in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for the Middle East and Cyprus, finishing second overall. The fintech group announced the achievement on Monday (29 June).

Deloitte is one of the world’s Big Four professional services firms. Its Technology Fast 50 ranking is compiled exclusively on the basis of four years of independently audited revenue growth, making it one of the most transparent technology rankings globally. The full results are published on Deloitte’s official website.

In addition, FundedNext secured 11th place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), which ranks the 500 fastest-growing technology companies across 24 countries. Co-founders Syed Abdullah Jayed and Syed Abdullah Galib are now the first Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to receive this global recognition.

Established in 2022, FundedNext serves clients in more than 170 countries. The NEXT Ventures portfolio also includes FNMarkets, a regulated brokerage firm. While headquartered in the UAE with operational hubs in Malaysia, Cyprus and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh serves as the group’s back-office hub. NEXT Bangladesh Ltd. employs more than 500 staff and is counted among the country’s top IT-sector foreign remittance earners.

CEO Syed Abdullah Jayed noted that the Deloitte Fast 50 carries particular significance because no company can influence its own ranking — the results are based entirely on four years of independently audited revenue growth.

“Winning a place on Deloitte’s Fast 50 is special because no company can influence where it ranks. It comes down to four years of independently audited revenue growth. We’re proud a company with Bangladeshi roots is measured among the fastest-growing tech firms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” he said.
