Imran Kadir, currently holding the position of Head of Sales and Marketing at The Daily Star and previously serving as the National President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, has received the Asia Marketing Excellence Award (Youth). This prestigious accolade distinguishes him as the leading Youth Marketer in Asia for the year 2025.
The award ceremony took place on 13 November 2025 at a lavish event hosted at the Monarch Imperial Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Kadir clinched this honor after competing with candidates from 17 member nations of the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF), which included countries such as Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Expressing his gratitude for the recognition, Imran Kadir remarked, “This award is not just a personal achievement; it symbolizes the ingenuity and inventiveness of the youth and marketing sector in Bangladesh. I extend my sincere appreciation to AMF and all those who have been a part of my journey.”
The AMF Asia Marketing Excellence Awards honor exceptional marketing professionals and pioneers throughout the continent, acknowledging individuals who have made noteworthy contributions to the field.
In his professional capacity, Imran Kadir serves as a media executive, overseeing Sales and Marketing at The Daily Star. He is also involved in various startup ventures as a partner. Noteworthy roles include being a co-founder of the Mission Save Bangladesh Foundation, a trustee at the Spreeha Foundation, and the inaugural president of Club JCI Limited. Additionally, he is a member of the Marketing Committee at the Bangladesh Football Federation. Imran Kadir also authored a well-received book on investment titled “Road to Wealth.”
