Jagannath University’s “B” unit (arts and law faculties) admission test is scheduled for tomorrow, as confirmed by university officials. The one-hour examination will run from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, with 79,807 applicants vying for 785 available seats.
Christin Richardson, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, shared this information with the media today. The examination will be held at 13 designated centers, including various educational institutions in Dhaka such as Dhaka University, KL Jubilee High School and College, Banglabazar Government Girls’ High School, Dhaka Collegiate School, Willes Little Flower School and College, Dhaka Mohanagar Mohila College, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, Dhaka Residential Model College, and Siddheswari Girls’ College.
Furthermore, three regional centers at Rajshahi University, Khulna University, and Comilla University will also conduct the exam. The test carries a total of 100 marks, with 72 marks allocated for multiple-choice questions and the remaining 18 marks based on SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent results, covering subjects like Bangla, English, and general knowledge.
Dean Richardson assured reporters that candidates facing issues downloading their admit cards due to technical glitches or other reasons will still be able to participate. Instructions have been given to center authorities to verify their identities and keep their answer scripts in separate envelopes.
