“Jamaat-e-Islami Leader Offers Prayers for BNP Adviser’s Recovery”

Jamaat-e-Islami leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman recently paid a visit to Mirza Abbas, the political adviser to the BNP chairman and Member of Parliament for Dhaka-8, who is currently receiving medical treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. During the visit on Thursday evening, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman met with Mirza Abbas’s wife, Afroza Abbas, to check on his health and treatment progress. A press release from Jamaat mentioned that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also offered prayers for Mirza Abbas’s swift recovery. Dr. SM Khaliduzzaman, the President of the Medical Thana unit of Dhaka North City Jamaat, accompanied Dr. Shafiqur Rahman during the hospital visit.
