Two individuals lost their lives and three others sustained injuries in a missile strike from Ukraine on the Russian city of Belgorod near the border, as announced by regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
Gladkov, conveying the information via Telegram, indicated that the fatalities occurred at an infrastructure location within the city. The three wounded individuals are currently receiving medical attention, with one reported to be in critical condition.
The missile attack resulted in significant destruction to energy facilities, leading to disruptions in electricity, heating, and water services. Additionally, three residential buildings in the city were damaged as a consequence of the strike.
