The National Citizen Party (NCP) spokesperson, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, announced today the party’s plan to establish a “shadow cabinet.” Through a post on his official Facebook page, he stated, “We are in the process of creating a shadow cabinet.” This initiative aims to promote transparency, accountability, and oversight of all operations.
Furthermore, the NCP leader indicated that the shadow cabinet would potentially boycott the swearing-in event if Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi participates in the ceremony. The inauguration of members of parliament (MPs) and cabinet officials is scheduled for Tuesday.
