Pioneer Insurance PLC announced a dividend of 30 percent for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2025, with 25 percent to be distributed in cash. This announcement took place during the company’s 30th annual general meeting (AGM), conducted virtually yesterday, as stated in a press release.
Leading the AGM was Zakir Ahmed Khan, the chairman of the non-life insurance firm, who extended gratitude to shareholders for their unwavering support. He commended the employees for their exceptional performance and encouraged them to uphold their dedication in the future.
Attending the meeting were directors of the non-life insurance company, including M Anis Ud Dowla, Munize Manzur, Sanchia Chowdhury, Sylvana Sikder, Munsura Rahmatullah, Parven Akhter, Rozina Afroz, Shahana Rahmatullah, Shafiqul Islam Khan, MA Majed, and Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah. Additionally, numerous shareholders participated virtually, expressing contentment with the company’s achievements.
In the year 2025, Pioneer Insurance recorded a premium income of Tk 387.62 crore and a post-tax profit of Tk 44.65 crore. The shareholders unanimously approved all proposed agenda items put forth by the board of directors.
Key figures present at the meeting included Syed Shahriyar Ahsan, the chief executive officer, and SM Mizanur Rahman, serving as the company secretary.
