US and Iran to Meet in Turkey for Nuclear Talks

A confidential source revealed to AFP on Tuesday that the United States and Iran are expected to hold discussions in Turkey on February 6. This comes as Iran urged the resumption of nuclear negotiations and the U.S. issued warnings of potential repercussions if an agreement is not reached. The source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, mentioned that a meeting between American negotiators and high-ranking Iranian representatives is on the agenda for Friday in Turkey. The arrangement for this meeting was facilitated through diplomatic efforts involving Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and Oman.
