“Lettre App Hits 100K Downloads, Earns Apple Showcase”

Date:

Lettre, a social app centered around handwritten communication, has recently achieved a milestone of 100,000 organic downloads and has been showcased by Apple on the App Store.

Users of the app have the ability to craft and send digital letters in various languages using either touch input or an Apple Pencil. They can also connect with pen pals globally and enhance their messages with digital stationery and unique artist-designed stamps. Lettre’s press release highlights a feature where letters are delivered with a delay, reminiscent of the anticipation and sentimental value associated with physical mail.

In contrast to conventional messaging platforms, Lettre does not display advertisements or utilize algorithm-driven content feeds. The press release emphasizes that Apple’s recognition of Lettre on the App Store is attributed to its distinctive design elements and other standout features.

The app operates on a freemium model, offering essential letter-writing and pen-pal functionalities for free. Users can opt for in-app purchases to access premium stationery options and exclusive digital stamps. Additionally, a subscription service is available, providing users with additional creative tools and customization features.
