Latin music sensation Shakira is scheduled to make a comeback to India this April with live performances in Mumbai and Delhi, marking her first significant show in the country in almost 20 years.
The Grammy award-winning Colombian singer will take the stage at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on April 10, 2026, and then will head to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi for another show on April 15. Her previous major appearance in India dates back to 2007 during her “Oral Fixation” tour.
Expressing her excitement, Shakira mentioned her eagerness to re-engage with fans in both cities. She also highlighted that the tour aims to raise awareness about child nutrition and support access to food for marginalized communities.
The concerts are part of the Feeding India initiative in partnership with District by Zomato. This will be the inaugural occasion where the initiative’s concert format extends to multiple cities.
Shakira ranks among the top-selling Latin artists globally, having sold over 100 million records. She has been honored as Billboard’s Top Female Latin Artist of the Decade on two occasions. Her recent “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” tour made history by setting a Guinness World Record as the highest-grossing tour by a Latin artist.
Tickets for the India concerts will be exclusively available on District. HSBC credit cardholders can enjoy a 48-hour early access period starting from 12pm IST on February 27 until 12pm IST on March 1, with general ticket sales opening at 1pm IST on March 1.
