A tragic incident occurred today as a man passed away after becoming unwell while queuing at a gas station in Kaharole upazila of Dinajpur. The deceased individual was identified as Enaytul Karim, aged 46.
According to his family, Enaytul had traveled to Esayel village to visit his in-laws and later went to Asma Latifa Petrol Pump after running out of fuel. Witnesses stated that after enduring hours of waiting in the sun, Enaytul collapsed. Local residents quickly took him to the Kaharole Upazila Health Complex, where the attending doctor, Mokrema Sarkar Megha, pronounced him dead at approximately 10:30am, mentioning that he displayed no signs of life upon arrival and likely suffered a cardiac arrest.
Syamal Chandra Barman, the officer-in-charge of Kaharole Police Station, verified that Enaytul fell ill while in line at the petrol pump. Subsequently, his relatives transported his body to his ancestral residence in Birganj.
