Popular actor Zahid Hasan is set to make a special appearance in the upcoming Eid release “Domm,” directed by Redoan Rony. While there has been no official announcement from the production team or the actor, several sources have confirmed Zahid’s involvement in a guest role for the film.
Zahid Hasan gained attention last year for his role in “Utshob,” directed by Tanim Noor, which was a commercial success. His performance as Jahangir received high praise from both viewers and critics.
“Domm” is based on a true story and belongs to the survival genre. A significant portion of the movie was filmed in Kazakhstan, with the rest of the scenes shot in Bangladesh. The ensemble cast features Afran Nisho, Chanchal Chowdhury, Puja Chery, and Dolly Zahur in pivotal roles.
The film is a collaboration between SVF Alpha i Entertainment and Chorki and marks Redoan Rony’s third directorial venture. Rony, who previously won a National Film Award for his debut film “Chorabali” and followed it up with “Ice Cream,” makes a comeback to the silver screen after a ten-year hiatus with “Domm.”
“Domm” is scheduled for release this Eid.
