Iran Insists on Sanctions Removal in Nuclear Talks

Iran emphasized today that the removal of US sanctions is a crucial component of any potential nuclear agreement with the United States as discussions kicked off in Geneva. Foreign ministry spokesman Emsaeil Baqaei underscored that lifting sanctions is an essential element of a deal concerning the nuclear issue, as reported in a video aired by the English-language state-run Press TV. Baqaei, as quoted by Fars news agency, stressed that the elimination of sanctions is an indispensable aspect of any prospective nuclear deal.
