US President Donald Trump made a strong statement on social media over the weekend, warning that the United States will target Iran’s power plants and bridges if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. Trump emphasized that Tuesday will mark a significant event dubbed as “Power Plant Day” and “Bridge Day” in Iran. He urged Iran to reopen the strategic shipping lane, which has been effectively shut down following recent attacks by the US and Israel.
In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump demanded the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, threatening severe consequences if his demands are not met. The President concluded his message with a stern warning and a reference to divine praise.
Additionally, Trump announced plans to hold a press conference on Monday at the Oval Office following the successful rescue of two US pilots whose aircraft had been shot down in Iran.
