The study, known as the Cybersecurity Trust Reality 2026 report, surveyed 5,000 organizations across 17 countries and emphasized the critical impact of trust on operational risk and decision-making at the board level.
The report highlighted that 79 percent of participants find it challenging to assess the reliability of new cybersecurity partners, with 62 percent expressing similar reservations about their current providers. Furthermore, 51 percent of respondents indicated that their trust issues heighten concerns about the potential for a significant cyber incident.
