Lebanon Denies Imminent Talks with Israel

Lebanon has stated that it currently has no knowledge of any forthcoming communication with Israel, as confirmed by an official source in response to statements made by US President Donald Trump. Trump had mentioned that the leaders of both nations would engage in discussions on Thursday. The Lebanese source clarified that there are no scheduled interactions with Israel and no official notifications have been received regarding such communications. Trump mentioned on his Truth Social platform that the US is working to facilitate dialogue between Israel and Lebanon after a prolonged period of no direct communication between their leaders, spanning approximately 34 years, indicating that it was set to occur the following day.
