From the dance floor to the spotlight, Ashna Habib Bhabna has always pursued her passion with determination. Art has been a constant in her life, starting with dance and transitioning into acting. Over the years, she has gained recognition for her versatile performances in both television and film.
This Eid, Bhabna is exploring new horizons by stepping into the role of a host for the first time in her career. She will be leading a special Eid talk show called “Eid er Shompadokiyo” on Somoy Television. This marks a significant milestone for her, as she delves into unscripted conversations beyond her usual acting roles.
In an interview with The Daily Star, Bhabna expressed her excitement about this new venture. She emphasized the importance of engaging with individuals outside of the entertainment industry, making this experience especially meaningful for her.
“I am thrilled to announce that I will be hosting shows for the first time. It is a special opportunity because the guests I have interviewed are not from my industry,” she shared.
The talk show will feature discussions with political figures and members of parliament such as Rumin Farhana, Zonayed Saki, Mohammad Abdus Salam, Aminul Haque, and Shaikh Rabiul Alam. Each episode, lasting approximately 50 minutes, will air daily starting from Eid day.
Bhabna’s interest in revealing the human side of public figures shines through in her hosting role, aiming to uncover stories that are often obscured by their public personas.
“It was fascinating to explore the unseen aspects of their lives that are not typically revealed to the public. As the show revolves around Eid, they have shared personal memories and moments that I believe audiences will truly appreciate,” she noted.
In addition to her hosting debut, Bhabna will also be making a comeback as an actor this festive season. She is set to appear in the web series “Paap Kahini 2,” directed by Shriar Nazim Joy, which will be available for streaming on iScreen during Eid. Furthermore, she has another project in the works under the direction of Suman Dhar, with the title yet to be disclosed.
