The Election Commission (EC) is scheduled to celebrate National Voters’ Day on March 2, 2026, as it has done in previous years. Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed from the EC informed BSS that the Cabinet division has finalized the date for National Voters’ Day. However, the detailed program for the day will be officially confirmed either tomorrow or the day after.
The EC is gearing up for the observance of National Voters’ Day on March 2 with the same level of respect and importance as in previous years. Preparations for the event are well underway to ensure its successful execution.
Currently, the total number of registered voters in the country is 127,711,793, comprising 64,825,361 male voters, 62,885,200 female voters, and 1,232 transgender voters, as reported by the EC.
