“Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei Killed in US-Israel Assault”

Date:

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who held the position since 1989 and was known for his anti-Western stance, was reportedly killed in a massive military assault by the United States and Israel. The attack, now extending into its second day, aimed to overthrow the Islamic republic.

Confirmation of Khamenei’s death came from Iranian state television early on Sunday following an announcement by President Donald Trump labeling the 86-year-old cleric as “one of the most evil people in History.” Cheers erupted on the streets of Tehran upon hearing the news, with witnesses reporting plumes of black smoke in the area where Khamenei resided.

The assault occurred shortly after Iranian authorities brutally suppressed mass protests, resulting in numerous casualties. More explosions rocked Tehran as Trump declared relentless strikes until the fall of the Islamic republic, urging security forces to stand down for the people to reclaim their country.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also encouraged Iranians to unite and overthrow the regime for a better future. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks across the Middle East, causing casualties in Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv.

The Israeli army reported the deaths of other key figures, including Ali Shamkhani and General Mohammad Pakpour. Iranian media confirmed the deaths of Khamenei’s family members. Survivors like Ali Larijani expressed defiance against the attackers, promising a strong response.

With Khamenei’s demise, speculation arose on his successor, with expectations of increased influence for the Revolutionary Guards. Reza Pahlavi, son of the deposed shah, urged Iranians to remain vigilant and prepare for a significant movement against any successor within the current system.

The retaliatory strikes led to numerous casualties and destruction, affecting both Iran and Israel. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards added to the escalating tensions in the region.

The unprecedented scale of the military actions shocked residents and governments alike, with widespread disruptions in air travel and heightened security measures. Efforts for diplomatic solutions were ongoing, but the situation remained volatile with calls for ceasefire and international intervention.
