The renowned television show “Ityadi” has become a beloved Eid tradition in Bangladesh, known for its innovative concepts and unique performances meticulously curated by host and creator Hanif Sanket.
This Eid, the show is gearing up to showcase a fresh twist. Actress Shobnom Bubly will be venturing into singing, joining forces with popular contemporary musician Imran Mahmudul for a special performance.
Despite not being a professional singer, Bubly delivered an impressive rendition alongside Imran, stepping into the realm of singing for the first time on television, diversifying from her acting career.
The song’s lyrics were crafted by Kabir Bakul, with Imran Mahmudul handling the composition and musical arrangements.
“Ityadi” has notably showcased various non-professional singers in recent times, such as television actress Tasnia Farin, who captivated audiences with a song alongside singer Tahsan Khan, receiving widespread acclaim. Similarly, actors Siam Ahmed and Jannatul Sumaiya Heme also made their singing debut on the show, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
The program has featured numerous prominent personalities in musical segments over the years, including Ilias Kanchan, Parveen Sultana Diti, Moushumi, Tania Ahmed, Nobel, Ishita, Tarin, and Aupee Karim, among others.
Continuing this trend, Bubly and Imran are poised to grace the stage together.
The music video for their collaboration was filmed on January 24 at a grand outdoor set specially constructed for “Ityadi” at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
