The Bangladeshi government has initiated a three-day national startup exhibition with the goal of enhancing the nation’s entrepreneurial environment and linking up-and-coming businesses with potential investors. Known as the National Demo Day 2026, the event kicked off on April 7 at the Bangladesh Tourism Corporation auditorium in Agargaon, bringing together government officials, entrepreneurs, and financial backers. This initiative is part of the Startup and Scaleup program, which falls under the Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Development (DEIED) project managed by the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority. The program saw the participation of 1,091 entrepreneurs from six regions in its initial stages, culminating in around 200 chosen founders slated to showcase their ventures at the national gathering.
