Pakistan’s imprisoned ex-prime minister, Imran Khan, underwent eye treatment yesterday, as confirmed by a hospital announcement. Despite this, a representative for the former cricket icon expressed dissatisfaction over the denial of access to his preferred physician.
Imran Khan has been incarcerated since 2023 after being convicted last year, alongside his spouse, for alleged corruption offenses that they refute. Concerns have been raised by the 73-year-old’s family and legal counsel regarding his deteriorating eyesight, particularly in his right eye.
