“Ink Plant Fire in Dhaka Successfully Extinguished”

A fire erupted at a tin-shed ink manufacturing plant in the Demra neighborhood of Dhaka earlier today and was successfully extinguished after over two and a half hours. The fire started at the factory located in the Amulia Model Town area around 11:40 am.

Upon receiving the alert, four firefighting teams from the Demra and Siddikbazar fire stations swiftly responded to the incident and managed to bring the flames under control by 1:55 pm. Rashed Bin Khalid, the duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, verified this information.

Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of any injuries, and the exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
