An exclusive Eid telefilm titled “Je Bandhon Jaay Na Chhera” has been crafted by Rangan Music for the upcoming Eid festivities.
The script is penned by Shafikur Rahman Shantanu and co-directed by Amitabh Ahmed Rana and Subrata Mitra. The ensemble cast features Abul Hayat, Irfan Sajjad, Sunerah Binte Kamal, SM Ashraful Alam Sohag, Reshma Ahmed, Azam Khan, Iftekhar Palash, Azizul Islam, Rajib Natraj, Sujon Bhowmik, and young talent Ibrahim.
Shooting occurred in various Dhaka locales such as Uttara, Mirpur, and Agargaon from March 3 to March 5.
The narrative delves into the intricacies of family dynamics in a modern urban setting. Hayat Sahib, a septuagenarian who dedicated his life to a small town, sells his assets to provide his sole son, Jafar, with an education in Dhaka. Following his wife’s demise, Jafar, now residing in the capital with his spouse Tumpa, welcomes his ailing father into their abode. Nevertheless, the demands and realities of city living gradually strain the family bonds.
Director Subrata Mitra mentioned that the telefilm explores the emotional connection between a father and his offspring, showcasing how challenging circumstances can test even the strongest bonds of love.
The cinematography was expertly managed by Suman Hossain, while editing was skillfully executed by Ramzan Ali and the background score composed by Prottay Khan. Md Jamal Hossain oversees the production of the telefilm.
“Je Bandhon Jay Na Chhera” is scheduled for release on Eid through the Rangan Entertainment YouTube channel.
