Vocalist Mainul Ahsan Noble was apprehended today in Narayanganj on accusations of unlawfully detaining a young woman and coercing her into creating explicit images and videos, authorities reported.
Noble was apprehended at approximately 12:30 pm on February 23 in the Bottola region under Siddirganj Police Station, as informed by Demra Police. Law enforcement stated that the arrest was made based on a tip-off.
The incident originates from a complaint lodged on August 13, 2025, where a woman claimed that Noble enticed her with marriage promises and confined her within his studio. She alleged that he compelled her to produce objectionable photos and videos during her confinement.
Following the complaint, the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) was tasked by the court to conduct a comprehensive investigation. Subsequently, on February 2, 2026, PBI Sub-Inspector Nuruzzaman submitted the investigative findings, leading the court to issue warrants against Noble and three others.
Murad, the Operations Officer of Demra Police, stated, “Upon the issuance of warrants against Noble and three accomplices by the court, our team carried out the arrests, apprehending the main suspect. Currently, he is undergoing the necessary procedures for judicial surrender.”
No further details regarding the other individuals involved have been divulged. Official charges are yet to be confirmed by the police, and there have been no convictions reported.
