BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman wrapped up his 19-day election campaign by visiting the resting places of former president Ziaur Rahman and ex-prime minister Khaleda Zia. Accompanied by party leaders, he paid his respects at the graves of his parents at Dhaka’s Zia Udyan around 11:00 pm on Monday. Earlier in the day, he participated in election rallies at eight different locations in Dhaka. Over the course of his campaign since January 22, Tarique has spoken at 15 election events within Dhaka and attended rallies at 29 venues in 26 districts outside the capital.
