“Trump Rejects NATO Offer for Strait of Hormuz Assistance”

President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he had turned down an offer from NATO to assist in securing the Strait of Hormuz following Iran’s statement about reopening it. Trump, via his Truth Social network, stated that he advised NATO to refrain from involvement unless they intended to solely transport oil on their vessels. He further criticized NATO, referring to the alliance as being ineffective when their assistance was crucial, labeling them as a “Paper Tiger.”
