Uber in Bangladesh has introduced a novel hybrid subscription scheme for its bike drivers. The revamped system offers drivers various subscription options, giving full-time and part-time riders the flexibility to customize their engagement based on their availability and earnings goals.
Under this hybrid model, drivers have the opportunity to operate without any commission on trips. This means they can keep the entire fare amount and only need to pay for platform access through a subscription model, as outlined by the company. This initiative expands on Uber’s previous subscription model that was first launched in 2023.
